  I went plaza bonita for a day of shopping and relaxing I came across of seeing Applebee's restaurant I have been to many others including the one in El Cajon at parkway plaza it was really bad experience .
    So I was hankering for lunch and went into the restaurant there was a few people waiting for tables . I was seated by a very nice hostess that she directed me up area tables close to the window . That restaurant was semi full with with people enjoying the food that was brought to the table the dishes looked very nice .
    When I was seated I looked through the menu to see was good for lunch the menu had many selections that wasn't confusing or hard to find the specials . The server saw me and came over and introduced herself very nice that her menu knowledge is excellent I had asked about the burgers and the appetizers .
    I asked about the pretzel sticks they are very good with white beer cheese sauce and honey mustard sauce . I sked about the bacon cheese burgers she told me they make the best around    she started me off with a Dr Pepper .
  I went through and started my phone timer the service time for the appetizer was six minutes and the burger came about 15 minutes latter . It was cooked well done and the bacon very good flavor .
    The server came back to my table twice to check to see if I liked everything and I needed another refill the service was great . And may I say in closing that this is best Applebee's that I have been and will refer to my out of town guests .

  Came for a quick lunch on Thursday. Got the tomato basil soup and the chicken salad with strawberries. They were good choices because I did not want to add too many calories to my daily intake. That being said I do not think I would order the same salad again unless watching my weight is my priority.
  
  The bartender was really nice and hot. She was a good addition to an already solid lunch.

  The service is great here, only giving 4 stars because of the very minimal vegetarian options. Probably not the best place with my dietary restrictions haha
  
  Noise level is average, parking was abundant, and being able to walk through the mall after a full stomach is a nice perk  
  
  We got a free dessert with our entree from the birthday reward system so that was nice. The $1 Rita's are actually really good, did not expect that!
  
  Overall I think they have a good crew here and a good location, just need to give their menu some more vegetarian options and I would give 5 stars!

  The food was great. They messed up on my burger (gave me American cheese when I asked for Swiss cheese). Our bartender/server, Kristen, saw it before the plate was even put in front of me. She immediately apologized and took it to the kitchen to get fixed. I was a little concerned that they were going to just peal the American cheese off and plate the Swiss cheese on top but after several minutes a new burger came out and I could tell it was freshly made. She was very attentive and friendly. Great customer service.
